Feed pellet mill is the machine that adds sugar syrup water to the semi-finished product feed and processes the feed into pellets according to the poultry feeding characteristics and habits. Common feed pellet mill can be divided into several kinds, such as soft feed pellet mill, hard feed pellet mill, extrude feed pellet mill and so on.

SPM250 Feed Pellet Machine

There are several matters needed to be paid attention to in the daily production:

1. When producing feed pellets, the raw materials should be strictly chosen according to the scientifically designed feed formula.

2. Feed pellet mill should be installed steady on the ground and connect the power supply in accordance with the machine rotation direction of rotation of the machine

3. After installing, check the screw of each part; degree of tightness of the belt should be moderate; adjust the gap between two rollers and millstone to 0.1-0.3mm.

4. Before operating, prepare the grinding material according to a certain proportion (generally 5kg grass meal, 0.8kg used oil, 0.62kg water, 2kg sand) and mixed evenly, using the configured grinding material grinding for about 30 minutes.

5. Make sure the mill is installed without error, stir the bulk material evenly according to a certain proportion (3.5kg water add to 100kg dry feed material is the best), send a little to the feed port, when the feed pellets are extruded out, fill the material in to feed port and start regular production.

6. Length of pellet is decided by the length of machine discharge hole, it can be changed by adjusting the location of cutter at the top of the discharge hole. Diameter of pellet depends on the diameter of millstone hole, exchange the millstone to produce the pellet with proper diameter. For ring die pellet mill, pellet length is mainly adjusted by manual (or electrical) adjustment of the cutter.

7. Mixing material in the hopper by hand is prohibited.

8. Hard debris or metal pieces in the material should be removed.

Use and Maintenance of SPM250 Feed Pellet Mill

For the maintenance of feed pellet machine, to do the following:

1. New machine needs to be washed after each use, until it has been washed for 15-20 times.

2. Feed pellet machine should use matching power according to the instructions. If the power is too small, the machine has a low output, the effect is poor; if the power is too large, it would waste energy, speed up the machine wear and tear, shorten the service life.

3. Frequently clean the dust and dirt on the surface of equipment, and regularly add oil to make sure that the pellet machine in a good state of lubrication.

4. Frequently remove residual feed in the ring die cavity.

5. Before each shift, inject oil into the oil adding leveler of two eccentric shafts.

6. Inspect ring die, pressure roller, cutter, blade, belts and other wearing parts regularly, adjust or replace in time to ensure the normal work of pellet machine.

7. Maintenance of roller and transmission part. The bearing must be cleaned every 2 to 5 working days, and add high temperature resistant grease according to the instruction. Main shaft should be cleaned and refueled every month, the gearbox should be cleaned and maintained for each six months, the screw of transmission part should be fasten and replaced at any time. Replace the roller belt or the complete set of roller when the roller is worn; once the bearing is loose or locking, replace the bearings or replace together with shaft. Ring die of pellet machine aging, wear, injury, replace a new one.

8. Check the stud bolts in pelleting room and scraper for looseness before each shift.

9. Check the gap between rollers and ring die before start, adjust to ensure the gap between rollers and ring die.

10. Check the distance between cutter and ring die, make sure it is larger than 3mm.

11. Check each part of the machine at any time to prevent oil spill.
